As five underworld heavies settle in for an all night stay at an abandoned warehouse and former film studio, a series of bizarre and unsettling occurrences quickly lead them to believe they are not alone. It was supposed to be a simple night of babysitting a single hostage, but when a series of numbers began to appear on the walls things soon took a dark turn. Later, after the hostage escapes, the perplexed thugs not only learn that there is a rat in the ranks, but also discover the unsettling nature of the films that were shot in the warehouse. Now, as terror takes hold, the thieves are about to discover that they are being stalked from the shadows and that their odds of living to see daybreak are shrinking with each passing minute.

The Earth is home to over 15,000 individual species of reptiles and amphibians. There are those for whom it is more than just a mere passion to venture into the wild to find them all. They are field herpers, and these are their adventures.

Originally released in 2011, this follow-up to the original multiple award-winning documentary on the great reptile culture, Herpers II again takes us across North America to investigate the culture, history, and passion of those who are avid reptile and amphibian enthusiasts. This installment in the Herpers franchise takes from the lush tropical forests of Costa Rica to Bob Clark's amazing facility in Oklahoma City to Sandfire Dragon Ranch in Vista, California and to the one-of-a-kind Kevin McCurley in Plainstow, New Hampshire and his warehouses of some of the most species diverse and eye-popping morphs of reptiles in the world and much, much more! With a stronger emphasis on what concerns the average herper in mind with this installment, it is sure to be just as loved as the original.

It is estimated that there are 13 million pet reptiles in the United States alone. That means that approximately 4% of households in the country houses a least one reptile, some have even more. In fact, there are even a few who have achieved quite a wealth with their reptile breeding programs. These people are known as "Herpers" stemming from the word Herpetology; the study of reptiles and amphibians. Still, the fact remains that there are two kinds of people in the world; those who are reptile fanatics, and those who have no idea that there are people in the world who are, in fact, reptile fanatics. Herpers is a feature-length documentary for them both, produced by the multiple award-winning filmmaker, Dav Kaufman who fits proudly in the former category. Herpers takes us from coast-to-coast from the forests of Virginia to the skyscrapers of Chicago to the hills of Hollywood and all points in between in search of this unique reptile culture.

Phoboscincus bocourti is otherwise known as the TERROR SKINK, and it really lives up to its name! It's a meat eater and fills the same niche as the T-Rex did in his day. This critically endangered lizard is endemic to Province Sud, New Caledonia, and was thought to be extinct until 2002. It is quite possibly the rarest lizard in the world, and we tour the island it is known to exist on in a frantic search to find it within the time we have there. The path is riddled with obstacles, sharp thorns, and pitfalls that drop to 50 feet or more. It’s not an easy search, but we are determined to find, and document it in the wild. It’s like searching for the proverbial needle in a haystack, but six months of research have prepped us for the task ahead. Phoboscincus bocourti is so rare that only five known living specimens have ever been seen in the wild. First one was the original lizard in 1897 (deseased), Second was sighted by Aaron Bauer (living), Third was sighted by Euan Edwards in 1993 (living), Fourth was found in the surf by Philippe de Vosjoli (deseased), Fifth was photographed by Julie Halatas (living), Sixth was Ivan Inesh who wrote the paper reintroducing them to science (living), And the Seventh was found by us, making it the fifth known living specimen ever found, and marks the first time it was ever filmed in 4K in the wild! FINDING THE BIGGEST RATTLESNAKE IN THE WORLD! (Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, Crotalus adamanteus) You all know Florida was a lot of snakes, and big ones too! While I was down there filming some episodes, I took a few days and traveled all over the peninsular from one coast to another to try and a find the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, the biggest rattlesnake species in the world! This once common, now increasingly rare rattlesnake had me putting in the time, and effort, and in the end, how we found it was just plain incredible! This isn't the biggest specimen ever found, but a member of the biggest rattlesnake species in the world! ABOUT THE EASTERN DIAMONDBACK RATTLESNAKE The Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake Crotalus adamanteus is the largest rattlesnake species and is the heaviest known type of venomous snake, with one specimen shot in 1946 measuring 7.8 ft (2.4 m) in length and weighing 15.4 kg (34 lb). However, other venomous snakes may rival this species in weight, the much longer but more slender king cobra is probably greater in average body mass if not maximum weight and the shorter but even bulkier gaboon viper could (but is not verified to) exceed the rattlesnake in both mean adult body mass and possibly even maximum body mass. Common names include eastern diamondback rattlesnake, eastern diamond-backed rattlesnake, eastern diamondback, diamond rattlesnake, diamond-back rattlesnake, common rattlesnake, diamond-back, diamond(-patch) rattler, eastern diamond-back (rattlesnake), eastern diamond rattlesnake, Florida diamond-back (rattlesnake), Florida rattlesnake, lozenge-spotted rattlesnake, rattler, rattlesnake, southeastern diamond-backed rattlesnake, southeastern diamond-backed rattler, southern woodland rattler, water rattle, water rattlesnake, and diamondback rattlesnake. C. adamanteus is found in the southeastern United States from southeastern North Carolina, south along the coastal plain through peninsular Florida to the Florida Keys, and west along the Gulf Coast through southern Alabama and Mississippi to southeastern Louisiana.
